Women's Basketball Drops Defensive Battle to Immaculata

RADNOR, Pa. – After a nip and tuck 25 minutes of basketball, a nine minute field goal drought sent the Cabrini College women's basketball team to a 53-40 loss to the visiting Immcaulata University Mighty Macs. The loss drops the Cavaliers to an even 5-5 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference standings and 7-11 overall.

The Cabrini College basketball teams return to action tonight as both the Cavaliers women's and men's teams take on the Mighty Macs of Immaculata University at Nerney Field House in Colonial States Athletic Conference play. The women will start the action at 6:00 p.m. with the men to follow at approximately 8:00 p.m.

RADNOR, Pa. – Cabrini College senior men's basketball student-athlete Cory Lemons was named to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 22, 2011. Lemons led the #8 Cavaliers to wins over Gwynedd-Mercy College and Baptist Bible College to remain undefeated in the Colonial States Athletic Conference at 11-0 and 16-1 overall.
